Well-Being
Softening into His grace this season.

One of the tips I loved when reading “Holy Hygge” was this idea of providing a nourishing meal for others when they visited your home. (chili recipe inside).

This season’s slow flow came from a place of wanting to go back to the basics of my practice and remember what I enjoy about yoga. I offer you some of my favorite shapes while moving at a slow, sweet pace. I hope that you are able to find a pocket of time to do this as often as you need to as you move your body in a nourishing way this season.

The menstrual cycle, your period, is often met with derision. Disappointment. Frustration. Exhaustion. Perhaps even trauma for those who have a condition that worsens their period. I have spent years surrendering this time, occasionally unwillingly, to God and begging the question, "Is it really supposed to be this way?"

I remember seeing this image on Pinterest one evening and immediately felt such a sense of warmth and hygge from it. I’d love for you to sit with this picture for a portion of time, along with a journal and your favorite warm beverage as you answer the questions below, as well as with any thoughts that come to mind
